Soy Wax Melts
What are they?
Soy wax melts are fragranced melt blocks for use in tealight or electric melt warmers that, when warmed, release the fragrances oils to scent a space. Our soy wax melts are hand-poured in small batch quantities - we pride ourselves on creating quality products that we know well.
The size?
Our standard melts are our most popular size. Each individual melt is approximately 12-15gms, and will scent a space for approximately 16-24hours. depending on the size of the space, airflow etc. For larger spaces multiple standard melts may be used.
Our clearance melt pack range contains 6 individual melts in each pack.
The Fragrances
Our clearance range has a variety of scents that are in the process of being retired from our ranges. Fragrances may change as stock sells through.
How to use:
- Place Warmer / Burner in a safe stable place away from drafts, anything flammable and out of reach of children / animals
- Place the desired amount of wax into the dish of your warmer. Do not add any water.
- If electric, turn the warmer on. If using a tealight / oil burner, light a tealight and place under the dish holding the melt. As the wax heats, it will release the aroma.
- Extinguish the flame of the tealight candle / turn off the electric warmer when finished (the wax will solidify). Repeat this method until no fragrance is detected on heating (or if you would like to change up your fragrance). Note - the wax will lost it's fragrance before it has completely evaporated. Discard the remaining wax once solidified (do not pour wax down a sink).
Handy ways to discard finished wax?
- Keep your leftover wax, and top up with a few drops of a concentrated fragrance oil (add drops to your liking).
- Pour into a container until solidifed, then pop into the bin.
- Pour excess wax into a container. Soak in makeup up pads / cotton wool balls and let cool. These can then be used as firelighters for campfires. These are best for wood-fired fires, not gas. Remember to be careful when handling hot wax.
- Fix Drawers! You can take the old wax and rub it against the slide, the part that allows the drawer to open and close.
